  • Tourism Tax

    In compliance with the Tourism Tax Act 2017 enforced by the Government of Malaysia, a Tourism Tax of RM10.00 per room, per night will be imposed on all foreign guests staying at registered accommodation premises in Malaysia.


    This tax is not included in the room rate and must be settled separately upon check-in or check-out.


    Kindly note that Malaysian citizens and permanent residents (MyKad / MyPR holders) are exempted from this tax as stipulated by the government.

  • Herritage Tax

    Effective on 1st April 2012 the Melaka State of Government has imposed Heritage Tax on Hotel Rooms sold. Therefore, Mio Boutique Hotel will collect a sum of RM3.00 per room per night. The charges will be added in the final billing.
